Question 1

What should I do if I inherited gold and silver?

Accepted Answer

Start by separating the items into categories such as coins, bars, rounds, bullion, jewelry, and collectibles. Then review purity, weight, condition, mint, year, and current market value before deciding whether to hold, sell, insure, or divide the collection.

Question 2

How do I find out what my inherited gold and silver is worth?

Accepted Answer

Inherited gold and silver value depends on metal content, purity, weight, condition, rarity, demand, and whether the item is bullion, jewelry, collectible, numismatic, or graded.

Question 3

Should I buy gold coins or gold bars?

Accepted Answer

Gold coins and gold bars can both be useful. Coins may be easier to recognize and resell, while bars may offer lower premiums depending on size, brand, and market conditions.

Question 4
